Big Sister is Ready...

I just realized I forgot to post some shots from a recent maternity shoot. This mommy brought along her sweet husband and their adorable 2-year-old daughter. Big props to this mom and dad who had extra doses of patience that day! Their daughter decided she was just NOT in the mood for photos (don't you hate when that happens!?) so we had to pull out all the tricks in the book to grab at least a couple shots of this beauty. This was certainly not the first time I photographed a toddler who decided my camera was their worst enemy (and won't be the last I'm sure), so I'm getting better at not taking it personally. :) Her parents did a great job of having fun with her, staying relaxed (KEY!) and making her laugh with some fun games. Thanks guys- it was great to meet you and best wishes on the new baby's arrival!
Favorite pacifier and blankie makes everything better...
