The {Z} Kids

Oh my goodness- what a shoot. It's that time of year again... we all want that perfect shot for our Christmas cards. Of course every time you add a child to that equation, the job gets a little tougher! :) This family has 4 GORGEOUS kids, ages 1,3,5, and 7. The 3 oldest kids did an amazing job of following directions and being as patient as they could with me. The 1 year old- was, well... ONE! So of course bribes and begging are out the door. He simply wanted to do his own thing and was happy to do anything EXCEPT sit with his brother and sisters. He sure did make us laugh though. I was highly entertained looking through their pictures after I got home, so many funny shots. The shoot ended with their mom, dad, the nanny and myself in a sweat, but I love what I was able to capture! Real life!

This was as close as we got to "perfect"...

Ah yes, the famous arched back. Sure does make him hard to hold! :) Where do kids learn this trick? My girls had figured it out by 6 months old.

This cute man was happy as could be when he had the camera to himself!

I think this was my favorite shot of the day. You can see how hard his big sister was laughing in the background while 4 adults tried our hardest to convince him to sit with the others on the stairs. Instead he felt like showing me his prized possession- the remote control.
