Well as you might guess, I took THOUSANDS of photographs in the Dominican Republic. What an amazing trip we had and there were so many images I wanted to capture on my camera. Unfortunately some areas we traveled through were too dangerous to have my camera out and snapping, it was killing me to not have it with me all the time! However, I was still happy with some of the shots I was able to get. What a week! You can read all about it and see lots more photos at: www.impactdr2009.blogspot.com
Our students did a fantastic job of interacting with the Dominican children at the church we served. They were beautiful kids- those big round eyes grabbed me everytime!

This Dominican was helping paint the side of a 4 story building. He decided standing on the basketball rim was the best way to reach the top. Whew, scared me to death, but made for a great shot from the balcony!

We walked through the streets one day and I couldn't resist taking a quick shot of these two cute kids climbing their gate.

I loved all the color in the Dominican Republic. This blue wall in particular grabbed my attention with a make-shift "store" in front. Just beautiful.
