Two Great Kids- {M} and {J}

It was great to meet these two awesome kids. They were so sweet, and were a breeze to photograph. It was yet another nice warm day in November, so we ventured out into their pretty yard. Our toughest job? Getting the dogs to cooperate! Whew, somehow we managed to do it! Thanks {F} family- it was great to meet you!

The {M} Family

What a great weekend to have so many outdoor shoots- who would have thought my November shoots would be much warmer than October? I loved getting to meet this family- and of course photographing elementary school-aged kids sure can be easier than toddlers! :) It was a nice change of pace for me. This photo gives away a secret. You've all been there... you pull out your camera and tell you child "say cheese"! Of course, they say "cheese", but with the oh-so-lovely fake smile on their face. My trick? I tell the child to show me the saddest face they can make... here is this little boy's sweet sad face...

Then I pretend to cry- put on a big dramatic show... and voila! Here comes the REAL smile!

This family won a free portrait sitting with me from an auction benefiting Home of the Sparrow. They were so fun to photograph and sometimes had me laughing so hard, I couldn't even take the picture! What a great group of people! Enjoy your sneak peek...

Baby {E}

Yet another adorable baby I was able to photograph last month. He was so sweet the whole time, I felt I could have stayed all day to just hang out with him. :) Looking forward to doing even more photos of him next month... Can't wait to see this cute guy again!

The {S} Clan and Their Newest Addition!

I just adore this family- they are now a family of 7 after adding their newest precious baby last month. I was honored to do their photos again and we were all overjoyed with how well it went. Let's be honest... 5 kids for a photo session!? Can't always guarantee it will go smoothly, but these kids were awesome. The baby even stayed awake the whole time and gave me some great shots!
